England Summer Academy

The England Summer Academy is a free debate programme running from 10 to 17 August, exclusively for state-school pupils currently in Years 8 to 10.

Team England Coach

The Team Coach for Debate England is responsible for selecting and preparing England’s schools-level national debating teams, and supporting them at international competitions (including WSDC and EuroSDC).

CPD Conference

Last year, Debate England partnered with Noisy Classroom and Debating for Everyone to run a teachers’ CPD conference on strengthening debating in schools.

We are gauging interest for another conference this year. If we go ahead, the conference will likely feature a keynote speaker, and a series of workshops and discussions on debating and oracy skills in the curriculum, widening access to debating within and across schools, and improving success in inter-school competitions.
